Narrow Ski stance

I realize that this was posted a couple weeks ago, but not enough of you lazy bastards posted, so I'll ask it again. I moved my skiis to the narrow position on my 07 M8 162" after last season and I'm also putting the 2 wheel kit on soon. So what can I expect with this setup? Has anyone done this and thought it was too squirrelly and gone back to the mid position? I also am just running the stock skiis.

I run mine wide back here in MN for trail riding and ditch riding. I narrow it when I take it to the mountains for boondocking in the trees. My 09 only came with 2 wheels.

Thanks for all the replys (Even you ripsass, made me laugh). Looks like this setup should work fine, now if it would only snow some more.

I'm tempted to try widening my stance from the narrow setting. I dunno if it's the HCR's wide stance or the skis, but I'd like to get the better handling of them things. Found I could almost roll the HCR over just as easy my "traditional" m8 in the powder despite the 3 inch or whatever it is difference in stance, but the hcr handles way better in hard pack (or nasty soft-then-hard-then-soft conditions.) Got some tuning to do there.

Narrawh 's good

after going through a 15 year morph to wide wide wide front ends, it was refreshing to buy the M7 with only a wide front end after my firecats.

But one day after helping a neighbor tune a little on an old 86 long track phazer I went home and made narrow a arms for my M7............ohhhhh way good if you can ride, if you ride a dirt bike and like sleds, its the only way to go. Pain in the but to make that mod making a arms. On my M8 I went cheesey and made narrow ski mounts for my slp skiis, narrow er, not quite snow hawk like but headed the right way.
