which way do you think I sould go??
I am also considering a wrap from ArcticFx, which would be the point blank in some 80's retro colors
heres a mock up for an IQ to get an idea of what im thinking for my Pro

part of me like the simplicity of the naked look
but the other hald of me likes the LOUDNESS of the wrap
think I will get sick of the wrap over time???

any ideas appreciated!

ha those are some sweet paint skills!
Personally, I think the really loud wraps with tons of bright colors would get old. I like the solid colors mostly. The more I look at the retro RMK the more I like it. I like my Assault too but I think eventually I'm gonna try and turn it Blue like my 02 edge was. I vote for the solid color, but get what you like the most! Its your sled!! :face-icon-small-coo

the more i sit here and stare at it, im liking the "naked" look a lot more

Was in the same dilema...was thinkin wrap until I stripped the decals off my Orange Madness snowcheck. The pros look sick naked! Called Jordan at Arcticfx. I talked to him for a couple minutes with an idea I had and the next morning he had a couple proofs sent to me! Doin a full custom wrap, tank, tunnel, windshield etc......

I put a wrap on my sled and ended up tearing a lot of it off to go with a more minimalist approach. I saw a set of vents on here that went for 250 bucks that have a polished aluminum exterior. I think those combined with a simple tunnel wrap or even a cool sticker here or there would be the way to go. That way you get some increased airflow, as well as a different design from what other people have. My 02.

Go Naked for now, you can always dress her up down the rode.

yea kind of what im thinking
i just cant get over how sweet your sled looks all NAKED and such!! LOL!
i already pulled the doors off and they are sitting inside my nice warm house, heat gun close by
think i have a project tonight.......

this is what im afraid of
spend all that cash on a wrap, get sick of it and yank it off
or get into some tight trees and tear it up and then its comin off anyways

i need a few other goodies, so i think ill spend my cash on a skid plate, vents, hand guards and a bumper

Black and white kinda has that old school cop car feel to it. Do a headlight wrap that is 1/2 red and 1/2 blue. People would just stop and get out of the way....not that you, on a PRO, would be following and not leading.

i think that white/black looks awesome. I was really considering a wrap on mine too, then i figured $300-$400 bucks on a wrap is still like $300-$400 bucks i could spend on a lot cooler stuff, whether for my sled or not. The skills put you at the top of the hill, a wrap just makes you look cool on the trailer. my .02 haha!

This question is a lot like asking what clothes do I wear. Everyone is a little different.

I have a wrap on my Pro and I love it. It was a little bold for me at first, but it separated me from all the other Pro's and provides great protection. You will want a wrap for the tunnel because the snow sticks to the side of the tunnel w/o a wrap.

I recently added a white headlight wrap and it looks pretty cool. With the two headlights wrapped in white, it looks like two solid white eyes kinda like an old horror movie monster. I'll have to get some pics.

On a side note, take your time with the heat gun. Too little heat, you'll leave a ton of glue behind, too much and that creates issues as well. Take your time, add heat, do a test peal. If it's good take a mental note of how long you heated it for and feel the surface and get an idea how warm for a good glue release. When your done, just go back over everything with an adhesive remover. Taa Daa, she's naked!!!! Wish it was that easy at home!

X2 on the tunnel, I'm experimenting this year with some clear rock guard vinyl. Cleaned the tunnel real well, and put it on the other day and you cannot even see there's anything on the tunnel. If that doesn't work, I'll probably end up with a black tunnel wrap.
