My XP so far...

Love my Everest 154 so far but I have a few issues, I might be a little paranoid because this is my first new sled.
  • Primary seems to wobble a little at idle, is this normal? Then today it would squeal at idle after running. On the ride out, it seemed to vibrate or buzz on the way out.
  • Gauge goes on the fritz every once in a while and the odometer only shows 25mi when it show about 75mi. Seemed to reset sometimes when going into reverse. Is the retarded timing programming based on hours or miles?
  • Im used to a gen 2 poo, but the xp seems to need stiffer suspension, especially in the front. It leans over easy, but just seems to sag on the trail pretty badly. Stiffer front springs? BTW, I have adjusted the ski shocks and rear track shock adjustments to full hard.

Any suggestion would be appreciated, especially on the primary.

The squeal from your primary is because your belt deflection is set tight.

The 'buzz' that developed through the day is likely due to sticking arms in the primary. This is common, and is made worse with belt dust, etc. You'll need to get used to pulling the primary on a semi-regular basis and cleaning it.

The trip odometer on these sleds likes to reset itself. No idea why. Pretty annoying.

This from Skidoo on the gauge problem

Gauges
[FONT=Arial,Arial]
We are aware that some customers are experiencing erratic behavior from some of the new gauge units. Irregularities vary, but some of them can be traced to software issues. Watch for possible re-calibrations of the gauge through BUDS in the future.

Your rear shock needs be to re-filled with nitrogen or have your dealer replace the shock under warranty.
