My version of a bungee.

Tell me what you guys think!

It is made with 25 ft of bungee. The carabeaner end is a return braid so that the ends will not come undone. The handle is made of vinyl so it will not damage the bungee cord. In total length, it is about 6 ft long. Pleanty of room to get out of the way of the sled. The carabeaner is rated at about 5000 lbs. I just dont want the thing to break and whip around. If you all can see where to improve on this, please do so. I will not take it personal. Thanks

I think it looks awesome.

What's the weight difference compared to snobunje?
Total cost?
Looks smaller and easier to pack than that large cumbersome plastic Snobunje plastic but hard to tell from a pic.

I don't know what the weight is. I will have to weight it. I am into it about $35. That is with the carabeaner. It does fold up really nice and compact. It fits in my backpack nicely and I really can't tell its there. I will get a pic of it folded up and some measurements. I was thinking that after I test it a few times, I might make a few more. I will keep you all posted on this. (I saw that the snobunge was difficult to carry. IMO) If anyone can get me a weight on a Snobunje, that would be great. Thanks

Looks good.

Do you think the caribeener or the "rope" will freeze up once it gets snow on it?

I like my bunjee bit its a pain in the azz finding a good spot to put it.

Im thinking that if I keep it in my backpack, it should stay clean. Once I do use it I will knock off all the snow and put it back. I don't think the temps will be a problem. I guess only testing it will tell me huh?

The plastic on the snow bungee is in case it breaks the thing will retract inside of the plastic so it does't whip around and whack someone.
