My New Toy

Looks awesome!! Hopefully we can finally get together to ride sometime. I'm probably a month out still, will find out more on thursday.

Definitely want to do some riding Dave... Heal up, we still have plenty of the season left:beer;

look out now the old man (Poltax_id) knows how to type on the puter:D
j/k old baldy

Scary thought, huh???? Although it took him 2 hrs just to type that post, lol:eek:

Thanks for all the comments... I am stoked to get it on the snow....

very nice job just wondering if you made your own moto rplate or if you bought one and also if your still running the hac or not

That really does my heart good! I have an 00 700 RMK with 5500 miles on it that I can't bear to part with. This gets me to thinking. Impressive!

Custom motor plate based off the 98 700 motor plate.... Was quite a b!tch to get just right, but it is there.... The sweet thing is it is set up to for any stock motor mount if I decide to swap motors.... i have removed the SkiDoo HAC, but once I get the baseline set, will probably put an ATACC on it....

ok kewl so what all did you have to do to make the motor plate work on the doo motor?

We duplicated the original RMK 700 plate, but left the center in (on the 700 plate, they cut the center out). We then lined it up using the clutches (to use the same belts we have been) and marked the holes.... The only other modification required for the 670 was we had to shim it up ~1.5" for the carbs to clear the bulkhead.

Yes I can type on the puter and the spelling is even correct, as for NOSNOSUK's Gary powder is spelled powder not power. Power is what your sled puts out when it runs. O yea I forgot yours isn't running so I can see where the mistake came in from. HA HA HA
