No more open deck trailer, dealing with a cover, or getting the sled suspension covered in road grime. Traded in an '02 600RMK 136" and the 2-place trailer I bought last year for this (it may not be the big fully decked out trailers some of you have, but I only have 1 sled so this will work just great). It's a new Mirage X-box , 12' floor with a 2' V:

I'll use ski slips for now, but this summer it's getting some upgrades.

Congrats! Can't go wrong with an enclosed trailer for security and keeping your sled and gear dry while on the road.

If I had your money, I would burn mine for heat.

Nice trailer Rich...you will love being able to ride into the trailer closing the doors and driving away.

Very Nice!

This is my first winter with an Enclosed and as they say, it Definitely is nice!!!

Congrats:beer;

Congrats and thanks for buying a Mirage. If you are ever in the Nampa area with your trailer let us know and we will mount a spare tire or put a helmet cabinet in it no charge . Ask for Rob

I wonder how long before Microsoft sues them over trademark issues lol

neat little trailer tho ;)

Alright, looking for some ideas for mounting 1 or 2 propane cylinders on this thing. What say you.

Nice trailer! What did it run you? I'd like to get something similar.

This is not the standard X-Box, I guess it was special ordered by the dealer with the following options:
Rear ramp door,
Side walk-in door
Side door step
small fuel access door on left side

The standard X-Box has two swing-open rear doors and a folding ramp and no side door - but still has the dual front ramp doors.

Anyway here's the financial info:
Purchase Price: $4844.
Trade-in allowance: $2320.
I had to pay $2950 which includes tax & title.

Thanks everyone.

I spent last yesterday, 1-14, painting the walls and floor.
For the floor, I used "Deck Restore" - a really think paint that has an anti-skid material in it. This stuff is like pudding and doesn't go very far. I used 3 gals to get one coat on all the ramps and the floor. I bought 2 more for the second coat (which is required per the instructions) and only got the left front ramp and floor coated.

I used the Restore Stain for the walls

Both floor and walls are the same color - Cape Cod Gray

I'll post up some pic Tuesday.

Now just need to decide if I want to set it up with ski glides for 1 sled in the middle, 99% of its use, or for 2 sleds. I prefer the one sled in the middle so the weight is not always on one side.

i would set it up for two sleds side by side. when only one sled is there, just make sure its over the axle and maybe put your gear or tool or whatever on the correlating side to help with weight distribution. I dont think having your sled to one side would really make much of a difference, especially if you have it over the axle.

I'm also looking at the cost of the ski glides. One sled = fairly cheap, 2 sleds = mo money. Like i mentioned, 99% of the time only my sled will be in it.

Now that you have the floor waterproofed, you should put an outdoor carpet in there. If you get a tight weave anti mildew carpet the carbides won't cut it. My buddy did this in his enclosed trailer and it worked great for years. You can always pull the carpet out and let it dry if you want also.

You don't think you will make at least one new friend willing to have you haul their sled in your new enclosed trailer? I seldom go anywhere without the trailer full now.

Got the sled loaded and need opinions on taking up Rob's offer for the cabinet. Their cabinet is 48"w x 15 3/4"d x 16"h, the trailer is 62" inside height. I'm just concerned it'll stick out to far and to low. I was thinking of either toward the back, over the seat of my sled, or just inside the right front ramp.

Anyway, it'll be nice to keep the sled out of all the road grime, and secure if I spend the night somewhere, and a place to put on/take off the riding gear.

After talking with Rob, the helmet cabinet is not a good idea.

Anyway a huge shout out to Rob at Mirage for customer service - he's hooking me up with some goodies (12" ramp extension, ski glides, spar tire mount) and sending them as part of a trailer delivery to a local dealer.
