Looks like you have got a good start for it.

Just FYI those couple of pictures you have up take for ever to load. Try resizing those pictures so they don't take so long to load the first time someone visits the site. When pictures take a long time to load people loose interest really quick.

I think the first page needs the use of EXTREME one more time.

other than that its totally extreme!!!!

Thanks for the input. I will try and resize the pics so it speeds up. I didn't Think it was too bad on sll the computers I tryed it on but is good to know other people find it slow. It wa built using dreamweaver for those who wanted to know

Biggest problem isn't size in pixels, it's overall size in bytes. Try resaving file in a .gif or .png format for reduced file size. Other than that it looks great. If interested in adding a forum, look at SMF, easy to install and maintain, quick learning curve.

You can see it in action HERE, still growing and adding more features.

Yes, work on the pictures, lost interest when only an inch loaded after awhile. Good luck with it, looks good so far.

To take care of the picture problem, I'm assuming you must have photoshop..when you resize them go to "save for web & devices", the save dialog box will pop up. Then go under the "presets" portion you'll want to either save it as a .JPEG or .GIF, you'll probably also want to change the settings on the quality of the picture from the drop down menu, till it isn't pixelated, but not on the max setting.
Otherwise things work which is a plus, nothing turns people away faster than broken links. Watch your size on the banner also, it seems to be out of context with the body. I've got some experience with web design, it's not easy, but I enjoy the challenge. :)
Heres the first one I've ever done..

And the one I got done with in class, kinda threw it together, first time using CSS, so kind of a learning curve going on...
