My new GOPRO mount...DIZZDRONE 3000

Some guys are putting smaller POS cameras under them..but it is designed for a go pro. And it is very difficult to get rid of the video vibration unless your shooting at 60fps or higher.

Can you imagine successfully mounting a Contour?

success and contour?

:face-icon-small-ton

It wouldn't be too hard to come up with something..if it doesn't already exist. They have their own forums and guys modify them to the hilt.

10x worse then sledders...techy dorks playing with robotic toys!

What elevation have you flown it at? Have you read anything about what elevation they are good up to, or can be modded for? I heard that was the big issue with those

I live at 7500 ft and fly it regular with no problem

have flown it at Rabbit Ears...about 9k ft no problems

SO the next progression on using this flying tri pods is First Person Viewer goggles.

guys are using them to corral livestock while sitting on the front porch...modern cowboys

This dude is insane and flies with such fluid movements...shows the real potential for this device

Damn, that is smooth.
So how much for the goggles?

they have kits starting at 300 and up. Still researching but a decent setup will cost you around 600. But then you want to increase how far you fly them...cause you no longer have to be Line Of SiGHT with the copter.

Transmitter and upgraded controller $$

Add a moveable 2 axis gimbal with servos $$

And then right when all that gets awesome you gotta upgrade to a 6 blade so you can fly in more wind and carry a real camera....and then and then

$$$$$$

Somebody help or I will have nothing left for a new sled next year!!!!

lol

User tip

when it is hovering right in front of you it looks really cool..like you could just reach out and touch it

If you do this and forget to kill the motor it will leave a series of slices down your arm...no really!

OUCH

Should be great for filming climbs...the stationary angles from top or bottom never show the steepness.....being directly out from the climber and following the sled up the hill makes for great shots like we've seen from some copters.
Not to mention great close ups of your buddy digging out while stuck on a nasty slope.

I imagine hovering just off the face of a cliff as Matt Entz launches out at it......that will look sick!
