My lightweight Pro RMK hit a rock....

Same happened to me yesterday. My left ski is about 6" further back than the right. I couldnt believe how it didnt take anything else but the lower arm. A+ polaris on engineering! Now anybody got a lower arm they want to sell?

I got a lower left I would sell you. I bent my right side this weekend and am going to holz as its the second time this year.

I bent 2 lower a arms last season, 1 left and 1 right. I hit stupid crap that I shouldn't have hit. It was totally my fault and I am SOOOO glad polaris designed the A arms to be sacrificial and not the chassis like Skidoo.

Anyone that complains about the Pro arms bending too easily just like to find something to complain about. People like that would complain if you gave them 10 million dollars cash in duffel bag because it was heavy!

Not a big deal, but when I snowchecked, I also ordered both lowers and a spare shock. Never looked at the two lowers, just left them in the box when I picked up the sled. Turns out the two lowers are black and my stockers are red. Rode that Pro hard for five days over new years week and never even bent an A-arm. Got lucky, but had I had to replace one, would have looked a tad funny red on one side and black on the other.

So if you replace the parts with something stronger from the aftermarket, could one assume that other areas may be damaged instead, from impact? I will stick to the stockers, the sacrificial lamb.

Apparently not, replaced my stockers on my 2011 pr with old style zbros a-arms, drove straight into rock for about a week and a half ago. Bulkhead still loks like new, only thing taking damage was the lower a-arm. And trust me, if I wouldve had the stock a-arm on, im positive i would be in need to change the shock to.

Look for yourself, my crash where I took the a-arm is the last one is this video clip, you see where it broke off.

I debated on buying some aftermarket a-arms and decided not to. The stock ones bend easily, but only when I hit a rock or stump, I haven't bent one jumping or dropping. So im gonna stick with the stock arms, the dealer has em, there $179 for the lowers and the uppers don't seem to bend. Rather bend an arm the smoke the bulkhead.

Wrong. I bent both my stocks from jumping, they are ways too soft IMO.

Here's my right side, no bending backwards, only straight down.
