It is very difficult to watch.
There are edited versions in reports posted further down in this post.
But, be warned, this is the full version that shows the moments of impact when the little girl is hit by the vans:

Beijing (CNN)Gruesome footage of a toddler falling victim to two successive hit-and-run accidents and then being ignored by many passers-by at the scene last week in southern China continued to galvanize the nation Monday, prompting a fierce debate on the state of morality in Chinese society.

A security camera captured the horrific incident last Thursday outside a hardware market in Foshan, Guangdong Province. Two-year-old Wang Yue was seen toddling in the middle of a narrow street and looking around, oblivious to a fast-approaching white van.

The disturbing video shows the van knocking the girl over. The driver briefly stops with the girl underneath the van, before continuing on, its rear tires slowly rolling over her small body. The girl is left barely moving in her own blood as several pedestrians and cyclists pass by.

Minutes later, another small truck drives over Wang without slowing down, the video shows. More passers-by walked, cycled or drove around her motionless body without stopping — until a woman carrying a sack appeared 10 minutes after the initial collision. Dropping her sack, she quickly moved the girl to safety and went to look for help.

I couldn't even watch the video. The story was enough, just sickening! Clearly their culture doesn't value human life.

Also makes me wonder where were her parents?

Mom shows up a couple minutes into the video.
The little girl just got out of her sight long enough to get runover and left.

1.3 billion people in china

from the look of the people passing by that didnt do sh*t, that probably happens all the time.

F*cking idiots

I am willing to take the bet that if that was a 2 year old little girl people would have gone running to her aid.!

Cultural problem

Read the rest of the story below and you can see why noone wanted to help her. Apparently they have the opposite of a Good Samaritan Law, You will be sued and responsible for injuries if you try to help.

The most popular regional paper The NanFang Daily wrote an editorial about “gathering the scraps of China’s conscience.”
With the introspection comes who or what to blame for the degradation of “Chinese morality” and there seems to be a consensus about the perceived source of the current state of apathy. One netizen wrote, “Don’t blame the passersby; it was a Nanjing judge that killed this little girl.” [YueYue is still alive.]
The “Nanjing judge” refers to an infamous 2006 incident where a young man named Peng Yu went to the aid of an elderly woman who had fallen down on the street in the eastern city of Nanjing. At the woman’s request, Peng helped take her to the hospital only to have the woman turn around and accuse him for being the person who knocked her down. A Nanjing judge then ruled that “common sense” suggested that Peng only took the woman to the hospital because he was guilty and ordered him to pay her medical expenses.
The story was picked up by the Chinese media and quickly became a cautionary tale for many Chinese: no good deed goes unpunished.

I'm not saying I agree with it, It's totally F'ed up in my opinion but at least you can see why noone wanted to help.

That offers a possible editorial excuse for a magzine or newspaper.

But when you WALK UP to a 2 year old little girl who is laying in a pool of her own blood, I really don't think most decent moral people would just step over her and keep on walking.

I don't buy it.

I think this shows a much deeper issue of moral decay in their society.

TOO many different people all passed her by and did nothing until the older lady, born to a different generation, saw her and did something.

It doesn't matter! Whether they be Americans or f*cking Chinese to sit and ignore a young child in distress is purely evil. Evil isn't confined to one country, it sits in all of them.

The Middle Eastern countries, fathers will kill all of the children, just in the name of their religeous beliefs.

This is not the first disgusting Chinese video I have seen. A few months ago there was that home video of a entire group of Chinese kicking and assaulting a small child, because he was supposedly a half breed, I wish I was there for that one, there would be a pile of dead people. Try kicking my kid because he's half white and half hispanic, I can guarantee you that you will never live to see the next sunrise and your death would be long and very painful and you would NEVER be found.

I don't think this is a Culture or Chinese thing. I think this would happen in many other places.

Obviously people are "outraged" which means that is not normal for them.

I agree with PJ there would be some major behind kicking if I saw somebody hurting a kid. Be it whether they were involved or just letting them lay there.

Sorry it's not in my nature to allow needless suffering.

Wish I could find it but there's a picture that says "The measure of a man's character can be seen by how he treats those that can do nothing for him".

YOU DON'T WALK BY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND NOT TAKE SOME ACTION. PERIOD.
