Nice sled. Are those shocks out of a short track Nytro? DOes the shocks fit right over?

Sorry for your loss. Hope we'll se you on the mountain again really soon....Can't let that sled sit in the garage...

Ken, nice ride. I cannot imagine what you and your buds went through on that mountain last week, but like the others have said what would your friend have wanted you guys to do, and like another said what would you want your friends to do if it had been you. I think we all know the answer, but you will have to decide that for yourself.

Did you notice that not one person has asked you a price, everyone wants YOU to enjoy this sled. Take some time, then go enjoy it.

Sorry for your loss,

kirk

Lost a friend and saw him die infront of me and sold the bike and haven't rode scince. been about 4 years and don't know if i could!! I miss it every summer or when i see one on the road, and yeah i think about what happen, what i could of done and so on, but i think if i would of got back on it right away it i would be riding and enjoying it. Coming here will remind you of him so get out and ride, it will clear your mind and you will remember the good times with him!!!!! :sun:RIP

That is a sweet ride Kenny. I think I will order a tunnel for mine today. For what it's worth, I had a buddy die on the mountan when I was with him. It was probably the worst day of my life, so I said that is it, I am selling everything. My wife convinced me to wait a month and said I would probably be more miserable if I did quit. I kind of take the attitude that when it is time to go, it is time to go, and by no means am I a religious man. We do most everything we can to look after ourselves and our friends, but we can not stop it if it is going to happen. I am sorry to hear of your loss, but you got to do what you love dude. See you in Revy.

Thanks guy's, I'm not going to quit sledding for good, just gonna take a step back for the rest of this year. I've gotten a ton of pm's since I mentioned that I might sell. I have about $30,000 into it and thats with me doing the tunnel and rear skid. I'd probably let it go for around $28 big ones. Its got 400kms. I can always build another one next year.....and it would be pretty much identical!

Sweet sled Ken, I understand you taking some time off, it would be hard to not get a sick feeling in your gut every time you got near a reminder, takes the fun out of it. Sorry for your loss and like most trauma it will diminish in time.

Wish I had an extra 28K.
