Ok, so today I was able to get out for a ride after tightening up the bov spring. I also calibrated the tps sensor with the pcv. It made a world of difference. No more boost leak through the bov but now I am boosting too much. Even with the boost controller turned out all the way, I am still hitting over 14 psi. I am going to put the lighter spring back in the boost controller and start adjusting it from there. Response is still very good even with the head shim. I can hit 10 psi between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle.
This thing is night and day from where it was last year. I am very impressed with this setup. We are supposed to get over a foot of fresh tomorrow so I should be able to give it a better run after that.
