My AXYS will only run if I unplug my hood?????

My AXYS will only run if I unplug my gauge pod? It starting dying on me everything I gave it gas to go. Tried unplugging the tether and that didn't work so then unplugged the gauge pod and it started and runs fine not plugging in.

i would say something to do with your ignition switch then. you can go up to a brand new sled on the showroom floor, unplug the hood and it will start. has been the same with polaris for years. dumb question but is your key turned on?

One of our Excellent local shops (A 2 D Sled Works) posted this.
We have experienced and seen others having a check engine light/shutoff on their Axys RMK's.
There are a couple connectors coming loose inside the velcro bundle above the motor, not the one closest to the gas tank. We are recommending everyone take a moment in their garage or shop, zip tie all the weather-pack connectors together to remedy the issue and save a very frustrating backcountry experience. Aside from that the sleds run amazing and we are very pleased with the 2 we have.
