Well my first time out on the snowbike was very disappointing. As I was riding up the trail I heard the track rubbing on something. At first I thought it might just be the way the bike is. After a mile of riding up the trail and having the the noise drive me nuts I had to check it out. I thought my secondary chain was a bit loose so I started to get the tools out to adjust it. After looking over things a bit I saw that the drive shaft was completely snapped in half! I rigged up a ratchet in the hollow shaft and wired it in tight to limp me back to the truck. I didn't do anything wild or crazy with it, I just rode it up the trail in 1st gear. I am definitely not impressed with 2 motos design of using a hollow drive shaft instead of a solid one. I am done with the snowbike for the year. I am going to put the wheels on it and hopefully get some riding time out of it. Hopefully the motorcycle will end being better the the 2 moto kit. I had high hopes for my snowbike but after my first ride ever on the single ski I am a bit disillusioned.
