I was asking around for rail extensions for my 08 Renegade, and no-one currently had them available for my timeline......So I designed and made my own!
I made them so that they would precisely fill the voids punched out in the factory rails, as well as sit on the top part of the slide rail "I" beam for more strength!
Still not satisfied I also made a cross shaft to ensure the stability and security of the rail extensions, and raised the adjustment slot so I could run the larger summit wheels using the stock axle!!
I think they turned out fantastic,
and now allow me to run slightly longer track, opening up track options for lug height etc., and all without ANY drilling or modification to the stock rails!
If any of you are interested in rail extensions for your 08, give me a PM. I have the programming done so running a small batch should be cost effective!
As well the axle adjustment slot can be made to fit your oversize wheels without the need for an offset axle if you so desire ,and all harware would be included!
