Music and Riding

interesting thread......i thought about asking the same question. i think that it may not be the best idea for a couple of reasons......Listening to how your engine is operating is fairly important i think. Also, having music may drown out situational awareness. These are a couple things that I have been thinking about.

IMHO it depends on how you ride. If you are cruzing fine, but when it get's serious I want to hear my sled period. And others around me. What about hearing the idiot flying around the corner toward you or climbing the other side of the hill toward you.

I used to listen to my tunes when skiing but it pumped me up so much I about killed myself.

Besides, as an old rock-n-roller playing with amps taller than me, my hearing is the pits. When riding you have to turn it up so loud you'll contribute to a nice case of tinitus down the road. I know to he!! with it, but that's what I thought also.
