A group of us guys are going to rent a cabin at mt Hood in feb.
Can any one tell me where the best place to boon dock in the deep is? We live in Bend and ride at bacheler and hoodo. We went to Hood a couple years ago and road at frog lake. Not realy very good for boon docking. Thanks

Help me out guys, dont want to trail ride at frog lake. and you can only spend so much time in charleys tavern.

Well, you might park at skyline and head in the direction of high rocks. There is a few play areas back there that I like to check out when I'm there. If the snow is deep, then bonnie meadows is a wide open flat area that is great for bustin pow. (But that is in the opposite direction.) I'd check out high rocks first, the signs will take you there for the most part. There is supposed to be some other great play areas up there, but I haven't found them yet.
