Has any one made it up to railroad grade yet this year? I think I'll check it out in the morning just to see what the conditions look like.

Not sure if they have even opened it up yet....need 2 solid feet in the meadow first. Even then, 2ft isn't much cover to get across and up the boulder field coming out of the trees.
They will remove your a arm's with a quickness.

It's closed guys! Too sensitive an area to bend the rules. Jumping the gun could lose it for all of us. Ride Anderson or Bearpaw till we get the green light and please spread the word.

was thinking about riding w/ anderson myself tomorrow, but haveing never have ridden it, was a little unsure and didn't have anyone to ride with. So was thinking about segelson also. I'll be up until around 12 if you decide to go I would be apritiative if you would let me tag along thanks

THIS is what needs to be covered up before you ride!!! From June 2013

Yes- BP is finally reopened and looking good. Yesterday's reports were a solid 2' back by the lake.

As I have never ridden bear paw would there be enough snow for a little riding up there?

No problem made a last minute decision to go up to segelson it was rock hard all the way to the top and pretty rutted up from the 4x4's. Good enough to shake the cobwebbs off at least.

Bear Paw is full of rocks, I would give it more time to fill in before riding there.

For me & most the guys I ride with we don't even think about riding Schriebers Meadows until the ski area shows they've got 80" base. I'd rather give it a week or two than be waiting for parts for a month!
Not mention while your waiting for your new parts to come in they'll get hit with a HUGE storm & you'll be sitting at home with a broken sled and I'll be ripping up 3ft of fresh on a blue bird day. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
