no luck there - traffic SUCKED yesterday! but at least y'all will be having more fun than I this weekend....
Any one make it out of their camper and up on the hill? Or did you get washed down the road into Baker Lake?
We were there Sunday, snow was pretty good for this time of the year. The mountain was socked in all day though, so we didn't get a chance to hit the usual play areas. Still lots of snow up high!
Snow bridge looked good, and the snow depth is still above the limit (for now). She may have one more weekend left, before the FS closes the meadows. Depending on the weather of course.

camping was good...got rained on most of the time down low, on the mountain it was intermitant more often than not. but still got a bunch of good riding in. awning kept the beers dry...72 beers went in to the cooler on day one for myslef and my buddy, only 8 survived the two day on slaught.
one chair was turned into ashes...an awning was singed from a 10' fire induced by kingsford lighter fluid...and the joke of the weekend was "Dee da DEEE!!" and "sofa-king?!?!"

It wouldn't be a Memorial campout without someone loosing something to the fire.

Saturday we stand around in the rain waiting for it to stop. At 4 pm we decide to ride and we ride until 9pm. Decent snow, even fresh up high, flat light but the 5 of us have a blast.
Sunday we head up pop can , visibility comes and goes. We have a blast, the 6 of us the only people on the mountain.
Cedar I so love to watch you sidehill
Both nights the fire was huge and the beverages plenty
Next time we need to have mc2stroke bring more than four tapes...yes I said tapes.

looks like y'all had fun - I thought about you guys often!
Could be a close call about next weekend. Plenty of untouched snow up high but it was raining hard and warm Sunday night and Monday morning. If forcast holds it could rain off and get closed.
Oh ya about the KTM decals. I wish.

Okay, here's a few pics.

Nice pic's, looks like plenty of snow on the mountain, now its just a matter of getting to the mountain. Do you have a guess on how much snow is still in Schriebers meadows when you came back down at the end of the day? In other words are we done for the season?

I would guess to say it was between 2'-3' last weekend depending on where you measured. My best guess is you have 50/50 shot that the FS would keep it open for this weekend.
At this point I would call the FS and see what they say.
Well, Cedar.. Country Crock... How was it?
Well let's see now… How to answer that question… I think a parts list is in order….
1) Lost one 2 man tent (Gets kinda damp when the zipper fails)
2) Fried one frying pan (dang drunks!!!)
3) Ruined 1 plastic spatula (somehow got cooked on the frying pan, see drunks)
4) Bent one arctic cat running board
5) May need a new drive shaft for the arctic cat (damn secondary clutch bolts)
6) One banged up right knee and calf. (see bent running board…)
So the weather did not play nice at all. I have to buy a new frying pan, spatula and tent so I can go camping again. I have to start repair the girlfriends sled before I can repair my 2 sleds that are down. My knee is still hurting pretty good after that dang jump, MRI is coming….
So what does this all means…. Damn, I'm glad I went to Mt Baker over Memorial weekend. I got to hang out with some great peeps, doing my favorite sport and even get a bit of drinking in….
Oh yeah, I remember something about a sofa king too....

I was tempted to come up and party with you guys one night, but decided I'd just melt in the rain 
and had best stay away! NEXT YEAR!
