Mt Bachelor Memorial weekend

Any one know about the event at Mt Bachelor in Oregon on Memorial weekend? It's a pretty fun time. Lots of cool sled's and good food!!! You guys should come out if you can, The mt has a 135 inches right now so it should be a good ride. Here are some pics from last year.

Holy-moly there are a couple of GOOD LOOKIN DEVIL'S in your photos! I had a pretty darn advanced suntan for June...must have been the good ol' days of surfing when we weren't riding. (tear is welling up)

We always plan on it but sometimes the riggers of life things get in the way. Last year we had a cattle revolt about that time. It really is one of the funnest sledding related campouts and you won't meet or hang out with a better group of people. I'm hoping the stars will align properly and we can participate.

I will say this: Dealing with the overzealous, self serving, elitist eco-terrorists in your area gets my blood boiling and that is a bit frustrating each year.

If our snow here at home is toast by then, I might be interested. Sounds like a fun road trip. I've always wanted to sled Oregon and do a little sightseeing. Keep us up to date on if it's going to happen or not. I'm one of those fruitloops who likes any snow I can put my sled on.

I have talked to the BBQ master. Meat is bought. Raffle Items are in the trailer. Forest Service is aware we will be there, and have already widened some of the trail signs for us. A buddy is going up tomorrow to check things out. last I heard plenty of snow and more coming most of the week.

Don't know about Bend but I was in a heck of a snow storm at 4000 ft in Eastern Oregon on Saturday. It's still winter over there! I think we figure dutchman to be 6000-6200ish so it should be one of the better years ever.
