Mt. Adams / Mt. St. Helens Riding Conditions

hey, i was up on adams on monday and it was pretty good. somone was nice enough to build a ramp over the gate going up to bird creek meadows. you could go where ever you wanted, coverage is getting good. dropping down into hellroaring is out of the question for now b/c there's alot of avalanche boulders down the main chute. two rocks was fun to play around though. get another 2-3 foot and we'll be set.

Thanks Snow Shark, we'll be heading up this week and weekend for some testing and tuning. Hope Mother Nature blesses us with more POW!!

See ya up there,
Semi:)

was at flattop yesterday and left there due to rain and lots of it , but on saturday went to ekhart ridge and lots of pow about 2 to3 feet but sure that is gone due to rain yesterday . you might get lucky and get your pow -groomers left flattop at 10;ooam sunday morn . have a great ride

Saint Helens - Marble snowpark

Pretty much all trail riding today. Tried to get out on lahar but just buried sled. Thought rain would have packed base a bit more, not the case. Looks like its back to Adams for playtime. :confused:

I was at Flat Top today, plenty of snow and snowing like a mad man. A buddy went to Adams on Friday and told me it was epic. It took 3 hours to get to the tree line on a new XP (probably due to mechanical issues :-). Going to Adams on Sat. if visibility is good if not I will be at Flat Top, either way it will be awesome I'm sure.

Merry Christmas to all.

Orr Creek

Went to Adams today. It was deep. The road in was not plowed very well coming into the snow park. I met the snow plows leaving the snow park in the afternoon. One of the plows got stuck.

The snow was great... I was able to get out into some meadows and not get stuck but the snow was coming up over the windshield.

I'm heading to Orr Creek again tomorrow.

Condition's best yet

At Adam's the snow kept falling all day so the visibilaty not the greatest once the gogles got fogged up. The base is getting there we did find some stumps and trees but for the most part able to ride the meadows without getting stuck. Was able to drive up to the snow park without chains but lots of snow on the road coming home. Had some good food at the Tap Room:beer;

Mt. St. Helen's, HOLY CRAP!!!! One big stuckfest on Saturday. The trail out to the lahar is slow, but once you get to the lahar there's snow everywhere and DEEEEEEP! The snow parks are pretty snowed in, they were working on them last night, so hopefully they got them somewhat cleared out. Should be an awesome season, I think this is the most snow I've seen this early on St. Helen's, YIPPPPEEEEE!!!

Anyone ride Adams this weekend?

Sled Safe,
Semi:)
