MPI Supercharger Fix!

RACINSTATION

We have built a fair number of these sleds and have had good luck with them. I have made several modifications and have done extensive testing and come up with several options that make this setup flat ROCK!

A brief list. PM me if you have questions or need parts.

Cold air intake kit (available from MPI) MUST HAVE
Blow off valve (available from us or about anywhere) MUST HAVE
Rapid Bike 3 controller (available from us) Must have
This controller makes the power seamless. Is easier to program in great detail. Controls fuel AND TIMING! Its DABOMB!

We have run 2 configurations, stock without head shim and head shim with altered cam timing. The no head shim results in higher boost and more snap! Also requires race gas, where the head shim allows 60/40 Race gas to premium.

The Nytro injectors start to reach their limits at about 14 pounds of boost so if you are running stage 2 with no head shim you need 750cc injectors (got em)

The RB3 gets rid of the stalling, poor starting, quitting going down hill, box dying from snow exposure etc.

I arguably have the best running MPI Stage I SCApex on the mountain. I park at 10k and ride to 14k. The major problem I have that is frustrating the chit outa me the more I mess with it is with the fuel controller. My cruise speed AFR’s are too rich and can’t be programmed any leaner no matter what I do. I have all the must haves. My cruise AFR’s are as rich as 11.5 killing my boondocking fuel mileage. I have my MPI box set as lean as it goes and my CO’s set at -50 and still no change on my cruise AFR’s.

Will the RB3 fix this?

Do you have a map that will provide me a base line for my Colorado altitude?

I also take trips and ride at 8k. Do I need additional maps for this or can I just adjust it out?

I don't have any of these issues (The RB3 gets rid of the stalling, poor starting, quitting going down hill, box dying from snow exposure etc.) you mentioned. Need something for those of us in Colorado where the mountains are high and the air is thin...

If you do send me a PM and the cost I’m looking at for the RB3 set up.
