mpi 180kit clutching tips

Recently installed mpi 180hp kit. need to re-clutch. mpi says 14.5 rollers and 17.2 weights is all I need to change. I weigh 200lbs and ride from 4-6 thousand feet most of the time. I just want to know if this will keep me in the mid to high 8000 rpm range. I don't really want to completely re-do the clutches, just want to start and ride and not bounce off rev limiter.
Any sugestions?
Thanks

There are a few of us now with newly installed MPI 180 kits. I did do the MPI recommended clutching but I have only gotten to ride once and it was just road riding so can't tell you much about the setup yet. Another guy on the forum also has the kit he was posted that he filled the weights with the 17.2 gram rivets(didn't change rollers)and it seemed like to much weight. He and I are both a little heaver then you at 230LBS and ride at higher elevations 7000 ft+.

Matt@mpi also mentioned that they were conservative with the setup since it's being sold as a Yamaha accessory.

Also it sound like most are getting about 5 psi boost as setup from the factory.
Wish I could be more help but, still waiting for snow. If you get it dialed in please post your info it will help us all out.
