I was just wondering if anyone knew the size of 90 degree radiator hose I need to get to make a snorkel for the intake on the MPI 180 turbo kit, or happen to have a NAPA part number?

I dont have the kit here yet, and was just wanting to get everything else I need to have before it arrives.

Thank you

I will see if I can pull the NAPA number off of my sled for you on that hose.

You will also need to grab two clamps and a joiner. I bought the joiner off of eBay "Vibrant 12051 Aluminum Joiner Coupler 2.25" OD x 3" L". (If you get this joiner, you can just take it down to the store and have them find a hose for you that works - but I'll see if I can just get you a number so you can shop online for it.)

Is this snorkel a must have for a MPI Turbo?

IMO if you do not have anything mounted on the tunnel behind the intake it would be fine.

I think the 2 stacked rotopax that I have on the tunnel was causing snow build up around the intake, so I built the snorkel to move the intake up out of the way of that snow.

This is true. I am related to another member on here that also has a turbo nytro, and I got him a mountain addiction track rack with two 1.3gallon gas cans last year. With the regular intake, he could only put one of the cans on the rails, but with the snorkel there is more room to have both of the cans on there.

I already have the 3.3 gallon track rack and also a tunnel bag for the same rails, so I wanted to make sure on mine that I get the snorkel on right away so I can carry the bag or the extra gas with me.

The NAPA sticker was still on the part that I cut off - the hose number that I purchased is 7496.
