MPEM reprogramming where to go?

Kelsey...thanks for the feedback. So what you are saying is if the MPEM has the safety feature, reprogramming the MPEM will not remove it...correct? So I would assume that the "safety modes" are hard coded into the MPEM???

What do you charge for your recurves and do you have the ability to put stock curves back on or just your modified curves?

Sounds like your better off having the dealer advance your timing for you...plus it's 1/2 the price. Or get a timing key.

Depending on what you are trying to do, and your specific build, that can put you into trouble in the mid range. Esp if you are running pump fuel. Ideally you want to "usually' advace the timing from ~7000rpm and up while not having too much timing down low...leading to a mid range burn down.

When we had my 860 on the dyno we played around with the TPS sensor a bit. with it cranked all the way, we made the same peak hp as the with the reprogram but the midrange wasnt as strong.

Thanks guys....I am basically running a stock setup. I just modified my 01 Summit 800 with the parts needed to have RER. So I just needed to have the MPEM reprogrammed with either the 01 or 02 Summit 800 calibration curve.
