Watched it last night. It was pretty good up until the last 20 minutes or so. It didn't really make sense to me what was going on. Did I miss something, or was that just a very strange ending? Please explain if you made sense of that ending.

I thought the ending was very strange also. Frankly it sucked.

I thought it was great right up until the bad guy walked away from the car wreck with a bone sticking out of his arm... when i broke my arm and tried to walk i passed out and fell over... guess i must not be tough or something :o

then tommy lee jones being a scaredy cat retires and doesnt know what to do with himself, so he tells us about a dream with his dad? Lame lame ending.

However i thought the show was awesome right up to that point. Overall i would give it a 3 out of 5 stars cause the ending sucked so bad.

Finally saw 3:10 to Yuma last night, really liked that one!

3:10 is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. I just loved how it went and the setting and everything....:)

I loved the movie right up until the weird ending.

I was in the "what the heck is happening next" mode.

I thought the store clerk was gonna get bloddy when what's-his-name was flipping the coin.

Where the heck did those Mexicans show up from to kill him in the hotel room? That part of the story was almost too random.

I got a couple of sense to add.

No Country for Old Men
I thought it was a beautiful movie and was shot really well. The dialog was really good too, though I had to turn on subtitles for the scene when Chigar is talking with Woody. The ending, was lame from a Hollywood standpoint, but it is more realistic, not your normal happy ending.

3:10 to Yuma
I thought that movie was good, but they gave Russel Crows character too much credit, bad guy turned good? A little hard to believe. I liked No Country for Old Men better.

You guys seen the Darjeeling? That movie was good too.

"it won all kinds of awards"...{oh ya what for?}... "BEST MOVIE EVER MADE!"

Of course it ain't no Highlander but perty dern good..actually said to myself about 90% of way through. SELF..this is maybe the best movie "we've" ever seen..then it ended and that same silent WTF (?) that every other person in the theatre was thinking. After the shock wore off, me and myself gave it two thumbs up....including the ending! CLASSIC and what enormous stones to put in an ending that is going to piss everyone off. Kind of like life...sometimes things don't end all happy and right.

I saw No country for old men also.. It was good, but yeah the ending was like... WTF? Perhaps a continuing story?? Maybe the wife was not killed.;)
No one ever refused a coin toss, perhaps this was his mentality weakness.

Maybe she won the coin toss...

310 to yuma was good, but it was a little outstretched as to how they dodged bullets, especially in an open street. And his horse in the end was kinda dumb/

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I did read the book a little while back. It was what I refer to as a "freezer book"...you have to put it in the freezer so that it doesn't get you in your sleep. Cormac McCarthy is a very gifted writer. I was left with the same WTF feeling after reading the book...but it made the ending more powerful IMO.
