Mounting 08 cat M skis on a polaris?

Hey I'm wondering if anybody has mounted stock skis from a Cat M sled on a polaris? I would be ptting them on a gen two. Anybody know if the mounts would work? Or if I could just use my stock polaris rubbers in the cat mounts?

Also just looking for general opions on these skis? I'm not looking to spend a lot, just upgrade the stock 5 inch wide plastic ones my xc came with, for a little better powder flotation.

I think all you would have to do is use your rubber pucks and maybe a few spacers on the bolt.

These ski's are the first skis that i have left on a sled. It was always my first part I would change.

Cool thanks. Anybody else done this swap? I'm hoping to get some clear answers so I'm not doing this blindly, dont want to spend $100+ then find out it won't work at all.

my dad has those skis on his 02 cat (i know not a pol) and they work really good.

Sounds good, so they are good skis then I take from what you guys have said. I'll what kind of a deal I can get on em.

cat skis on polaris

one issue you will have to address is the fact that the cats use a 7/16 cross bolt and the pol. uses a 3/8 cross bolt, also spindle width is diff. but thats easy.

For the size diffurence a guy could just put in a bushing over the bolt, to snug it up in there hey? And a few washers or bushings to fix the width problem.
