Mountain Tamer vs Fast M-10 for the FX Nytro

Nice skid, but.... I'm not a chute climber and never will be. I do some climbing, but mostly boondocking and have to ride the trails to get there. I'm not going to turbo it anytime soon. I want a skid to ride decent on whooped out trails & do good in the powder and not bottom out all day long on the hardpack. $5000 + for the CR-10 $???? for that shiney new carbon fiber gizmo, or $1500 for the Timbersled. Is the CR-10 THAT much better for my application?

If you're going to be running 135 hp don't waste your time on a M10. The timbersled would probably be great. As soon as you boost your sled you should probably replace the stockers with straight rails. The tipped up rails are no good with boost. So you need to add that into the price of the Timbersled skid.

if you arent running boost just try running a difrent ohlins shock on the rear of the skid . i rode an mcx turbo with one and it was a hands down better ride for 300 $ !
