mountain setup

just looking to see what you guy are doing for clutch setups on the 08 800's? i got a 08 xfire 800 that ill be takeing out west in march and looking for good advise. is the factory set up good or what type of weights should i get helix etc?

thanks

also if you know of any performance shops in the mountains that put kits together let me know.

thanks again

It's all going to depend on what elavation your going to be running at? Also im not sure if the gearing is the same on the crossfire as on the m-series. Do you have any mods on your sled?

the only thing that im putting on it in under the hood is an mbrp can. i think the gearing in it is 60/60. when im the mountains it will be from 6-10k ft. for around my area i can figure that out but out west im lost.

any help i can get i will be thankful

Try and send a PM to Bighoe He know's clutching!! Im sure he can give you some good ideas!

73gram weights,36 degee helix I believe is what they're supposed to have for the elevation you stated. We've been taking Crossfire 7s out west for a couple 2-3 years now and they work pretty decent, especially with 2inch or deeper lugs.
