what are you mountain max guys running for aftermarket skids, what is probably the best skid for this sled? i've been leaning towards the fabcraft skid, but i've never heard anything about it.

also, is anyone running a 2 wheel kit in their mtn max? i've never seen one with a 2 wheel kit, who makes one for the mtn max?

Fabcraft is pretty spendy. I would go with a Poo or Cat skid. I have a Ekholm in mine, Moutain Addiction makes them now. Same deal too much $$ for old iron. (IMO) I got a good deal buying a tunnel and skid as a package in the off season.
Edit: added pic of Ekholm skid

what do you have to do to get the skids from different brands under there? do you just drill new mounting holes?

i want to do this right

A buddy of mine put a Polaris skid under his Mtn. Max. He measured the distance from the driveshaft on the Poo and mounted it the same distance in the Yami. Others have done setbacks to improve approach angle. Both seem to work good.
My Ekholm mounts the same distance from the driveshaft in any chassis. Can't remember how far right off hand. It's been awhile.
