I've purchased the mountain addiction plastic dove tail gas rack with their 1.3 gallon gas jugs which have the female dove tail to lock into the rack. Want to install on my 09 XP 163; but before drilling a bunch of holes, I wanted to see if anyone has used them for any length of time and what your thoughts are good..bad...or ugly? Thanks for any info you might have.

been running mine for 2 years on my 1200, work awesome!!! People always are saying "hey your tanks arent tied down!!!!!" Would definatly recomend them!!!!

I only lost 1 can one time and it was because I only had one side of the tank in the track. Person behind me said they seen it flopping for a while down the trail, my fault!

there awesome. i try to make my buddies get them because im always pickin there chit up off the trail.

theyve come off once and it was my fault i didnt make sure they were locked in the groove.

and someone hit me once and knocked them off. which ruins the interlocking groove.

so as long as they dont come off they will last forever

They are a great product a little pricey but worth it. IMHO
2 years and no problems yet.

I have been using them this season and love them. Haven't lost one yet and they look better than straps all over the tunnel.

I love my racks, but I can not get these people on the phone. Has anyone else had this issue? Won't return email either.

Never had Tim NOT return my call. Hard to get them ON the phone but they always call me back with an hour. Are you calling the right number? He has more then one that I have. One is cell and the other is the shop.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I was in a hurry and didn't check to make sure that the cans were all the way on the track. Sure enough I lost 1 can on the way up a super rutted out trail. My fault too!

I wish they had 2 x 2 gallon tanks instead of 2 x 1.3.... otherwise they rock.

Anyone know if you buy the large rack that holds three cans, can you carry fewer than three or do they all have to be on there for it to work right?

I run the 3 jug rack on my apex. I have never run less than 3 I will fill 2 or 1 if thats all I think I need but carry all 3. It might work not having all of them but they have alot more room to slide around.
