MotorcycleUSA.com posts their review

I can't believe he actually wrote that 2moto created a new sport. Whatever

he never saw the schrew!!!!! i think thats what the 1st single ski conversion was called....

That's a nice article though. They sure did a good job explaining everything.
and... NIIIICE photos...

Now MotorcycleUSA should do that with the Snow-Hawk...
Of course Snow-Hawking is a "parrallel" sport compared to MX, not just a thing you add to your bike and ride your BIKE.

Am I wrong saying that the true MX racers will never get into Snow-Hawking, they'll rather shift gears on their bike ?

I think you're right. True MX guys want the freedom they have on dirt, without the dust and restriction of the trails. Be it a Hawk or a bike, it gives that upright MX feel. Good assesment.

I really think ADB let the Hawk go too early.

I love MX but snowhawks rule. shifting gears just slows you down cant beat cvt for snow. Now if yur just EXPLORING it is a whole different story!

Wow you are way off the mark and talking above your pay grade....

Brett Blazer.... YOU ARE ON THE FREAKEN SNOW HAWK FORUM> Your product doesn't even have a forum on here. You choose to get on here just to promote your product and use if for sales purposes. Which is a complete violation of the forum. I know how magazine articles get written and I am sure everyone here knows what it takes $$$$ to get it done.

SOoooo if you feel that you are going to just get on here and promote your products then do the leg work like Tony and I did and work with Snowest and create your own forum. For better or worse we have been working for 4 years on the Snow Hawk and it's more alive then it's ever been. Growth is huge.

I know that you have made positive remarks about the Hawk, which you are now doing but in the past you have made rediculous remarks. So it's nice that you are seeing the light. All three products are great for different purposes. We have all three in our rider group.

But let me just say this your double sided compliment *they let the Hawks go to early* hit a serious soar spot with me. I know the intention was to build doubt in the product line.

SOooo why don't you work in the other section and build that up. Because the Hawk is here and its here to stay. AD Boivin is making smart decisions right now with building the Explorer. No one can afford a big pricy machine right now.

Sooo take it for it's worth but really remember you are on the SNOW HAWK Forum and you are welcome to come play but you are also welcome to actually build your own forum.

snow hawk gal

Some of you may know who I am and some of you don't. I just wanted to take a minute and thank many of you that have helped to keep the snow hawk thing alive. In the beginning there were about 6 of us that posted up on this forum under snowhawk. and for a long time we struggled to convince most of you that are now hawk owners to convert to the one ski idea. Since that time there has been a lot of back biting and sh!! talk back and forth between many different people. I know some of it is all in the name of fun, but some of it has gone to far!

I think we need to keep the trash talk between brands to ourselves. It's not 2moto's fault that they can out market AD Boivin! I can guarantee 2moto has gotten to where they are today because of there marketing skills and there persistence to keep good relationships with their dealers and the end users of there product. and with out talking bad about AD Boivin we all know how it's gone in the past!

I would like to commend Brett for what he has done with the marketing of 2moto, for with out his efforts the expanding of the one-ski market would have ended with the snowhawk and the 20k price tag. It's going to take one of the BIG 4 jumping into the game to really make things go!

I know this is long winded but to put it in to just a few word. IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY, DON'T SAY NOTHING AT ALL! It's amazing what we can say on a form or in a text that we wouldn't say to some ones face or even over the phone.

LET'S JUST ALL AGREE TO DISAGREE AND GET OVER IT!!
Competition is what makes things happen! Now that I got that off my chest I've got to go load my Hawk so I can go RIDE! sorry the rest of you have to go to work!!!

just my 2 cents

I agree.. I think theres a bit to much corporate koolade being drank here..
Theres nothing wrong with Blazers post.. I havent seen anything but straight forward facts..
It sounds to me that the bike conversion riders are not welcome here on the Hawk forum.. Thats to bad.. we will all save your beloved Hawk..
without the bike converts the hawk will die.. sure youll have the machines that are still out there but no new development from Bovin.. Unless guys riding conversions think its the next step.. Might be might not..
Kind of reminds me of harley riders.. On reason my Harley sits neglected in the corner... To much B.S. from guys who think there is only one brand.

?

Hey I am totally into all of the machines. Totally love the life on the forum. It just hits a nerve when someone from another company says that my product is basically gone. After Hawkfest last week and the powerful words on the forum it's not dead. So take it for what its worth I think it's awesome the fever pitch the industry is in right now. The one ski movement is happening and we are all a part of it.

I do realize that and hope that all on this forum see the bigger picture here. I could be wrong but here it goes: we are a community of enthusiasts that like to cut across the grain as it were.
We all ride a very unconventional snow machines; be it a Snowhawk, a 2Motto, or the Explorer… by most standards we mite as well be driving Hugo’s according to the 2 ski world (which is the main stream)

We all chose a different path into the snow market and are enjoying ourselves in the process: Take Tony for an example he fell in love with the Hawk and preached the gospel according to the Hawk but realize much earlier then most; that the Hawk is the future of Snowmobiling.(purpose built machine) And to his credit he was right about that (despite the naysayers and purists in the sport)=Big 4.

With every good idea there is room for growth 2 motto went a different path to the snow and extended our ability to ride our dirt bikes longer and extend the riding season (great idea for making a sport specific machine more versatile)
Brett being a little more polished then some comes off very well; not so much a bible thumper; but a very slick car sales man and in more and more threads somewhat disingenuous in his praise of the competition.

The Explorer is a different view of the same path from dirt to the snow; very similar but unique none the less. Adjustability and flexible to each riders likes and dislikes (basically more adjustable).

And it has its flaws just like the above mentioned products that being said there is a lot of snow out there and very little space in here and we don’t really need to find fault in each others rides.
I might even suggest that in here we look to help and improve all the products we all use and in a more perfect world share this knowledge of improvement with others.

Wisdom without sharing it makes it useless; and keeping it to yourself makes you appear stupid to others.

This is a community and we don’t really need to make any more minorities, the sooner we see it that way the clearer the message will be to read.(Big 4 take notice)

We all love the snow thus our purchase, and no one likes things forced upon us either in text or in person.

Tony: Keep the Faith
Brett: Honesty may not be your best policy
Mike: Keep Explorer on there toes or lose them!

P.S I want some of that Red plastic for my 600 (Mike or J&L)

The cool thing about being def is the things you hear when people think you can’t listen.

I agree with most of what has been said.... I think the Hawk has got the fuzzy end of the lolly pop when it comes to marketing but i believe it is Superior to the others. With that being said Adbovin has almost priced the Snow hawk out of the market and the 2 moto, and explorer guys are keeping the one ski alive Big thanks to both for that. I got to ride a conversion bike at Hawk fest and I almost hate to say it was a BLAST... But my Hawk would kill it. I welcome all one ski riders to post just remember that this is a Snow hawk forum and if you speak badly about our beloved machine you will catch SH*T from most of us. Just my thoughts peace.;)

I really think ADB let the Hawk go too early.

I can't fault you (Gal) for reading my post wrong. I know it's hard to think someone (me) could have nice intentions.

Let me explain my statement. If ADB would have kept the Hawk in production, and kept the prices where they originally were; logically there would be many more converts than there are now. More new Hawks available= more new buyer/converts.

My statement in no way knocks the Hawk, and only expresses my personal feeling that they were so close, but stopped too early. They either have some master plan to come back with something new, or are done.
All the work that has been put into building a one ski world is now combining, and will pay off. Perhaps that is when they'll bring it back.
Acceptance is what I see that you've worked so hard for. 3 OEM supported one ski products would bring more market acceptance than 2. That is all I meant.
No disrespect was intended.

sometimes it's like people don't read what Brett says, they just assume he's shyte talking.

Perhaps the dirt bike conversions should post in the "other" forum. or the snow hawk forum should be considered AdB territory. if the kids are gonna be so sensitive maybe they need to be seperated.
