I have a 05 900 rmk and my uncle gave me his 06 rmk. 05 crank is bad, what else would i have to do to the 05 if i take the 06 motor and crank in it? (06 is in rough shape, cosmetically, but runs great)

BIGGDAWG did this to his 05 900 so maybe send him a pm. I know you'll need the ecu if you drop the 06 engine into the 05, also the steering post needs to be changed because of the injector setup on the 06 motor. I'm not sure if you can use the 06 post or have to fab a new one.

thanks man! but i just had a major brain fart on this! 05 has 2 injectors while 06 has 4! im not gonna mess with! think ill just invest in a new crank and 06 cylinders to do it right!
the crank will fit from one engine to the other. the polaris updated crank with clutch is a good deal
