Motor Swap 06 to 05 Cylinders

So I have a basic 06 that thats needs the top done.

The motor in my 05 is trashed.

I have a good complete 06 motor to put back in the 06.

Found a set of 05 cylinders to put on the 06 lower end (cases ).

Will this work, any issues putting 05 cylinders on an 06 bottom end ?

It will be going back in the 05 sled.

I believe the 05 cylinders will work for your 06 but I believe you are going to have to swap out the ECMs. Going from a 4 injector motor to a 2 injector. you could always try and move the steering post like in the 06 and just run your 06 motor. I'm sure someone else will chime in here to help with my theory LOL
