Just did one.
Last trip last year, buddy's 700 wouldn't pull rpms boondocking. Around 7000 on the trail it would light up. So I went to change gearing and clutching, I put the clutch puller in and the motor rocked about 3 ".
The two on the PTO side were broke another loose on the mag side. It was not as difficult as I thought.
Pulled the pipe, air box, a few coolant lines, the PTO motor brace, and a few odds and ends. I didn't unhook a fuel or oil line. I put towels on the chassis cross brace in front of the motor. We set the motor in that. Changed em out and put it back in.
The front PTO side the bolt was snapped off, so the rivets had to be drilled out. Then riveted back in. We replaced all the rubbers while we were in there too
