I think that we should always consider our riding gear as part of our overall survival strategy. Consider whether the gear you leave the sno-park wearing will help you survive if you end up having to spend one or more nights outdoors. Or worse yet....what if you become injured and have to lay around on the snow until rescue arrives??

Once you are cold and wet - it's all down hill from there.

You have to ask yourself if you would wear that gear if you KNEW you had to spend the night. If you wouldn't, don't buy it.
