So has anyone using the Moto Trax forksafe front spindle with there timbersled kit? I broke my front forks this last weekend with a timbersled front spindle and really don't ever want to do it again!

What did it take to do that? I find there is a lot more overall flex with the Mototrax than the tsled.... But I use it with a mototrax kit.... That being said my wife nailed a stump in 3rd hard enough to send her flying and the ski released and there was no damage to the fork.

I'm using one with a TS LT. No complaints. The ski will flop a little if you lift it off the ground in the garage but doesn't seem to have any effect in the snow. I've only been hitting small airs though. I've hit some stuff under the snow pretty good with no problems. Looks sweet, more travel, quick easy install, nice fit and finish, and swapping for a wheel in the spring to ride to the snow will take 5 minutes.

"Ski released" so...she broke the round piece that's meant to break?

Was this a 15 or 16 fit kit, the newer style with the plastic bushings and wider fork clamps or the older style?

I hit a little hip jump all out in 3rd gear and when I landed I skipped of the top of a rock. I new right away the forks snapped. It was a good impact but I would rather have broke a spindle than both my forks! I have the newer style fork clamps with the plastic bushings.

I use mine with a timber sled and did the same thing jumped and landed and the ski hit a log hard and i went for a super man ride but it didn't bend the forks or the d-bar so i guess it wasn't as bad as it looked. The moto spindle did pull forward on me a few times from getting stuck or backing off the trailer but i can quickly kick it back into place.
