Had an awesome stay here last season. I have been sledding in the mountains for about 8 years or so and these guys are the best, most sledder friendly hosts I have ever had.
If you are going to be in the Valemount or Mcbride area you should also check out the Terracana ranch. They are very sledder friendly as well.

Hello from Bralorne

Bralorne is located 50 km north from the Pemberton Valley up the Hurley FSR.
If coming up by sled you park at the bottom of the hurley and do the 50 k ride up.
If you want to bring your trucks and all your gear then you would come in from Lillooet and take hwy 40 for approx 1 1/2 hours (110 km)
The beauty about Bralorne is once you take your sled off you ride from your motel, rental or vacation home and sled to the Alpine without having to Trailer.
Bralorne is located on the edge of the Bridge River valley that has unbelievable riding areas like the Noel Valley,Lone goat and Slim creek that makes Pemberton ice fields look like a kids play ground.without the crowds of most riding areas in B.C.
Pick an area to ride and if you see more than 1 or 2 other groups then thats what locals would call crowded
In Bralorne is a 10 room motel with modern clean suites some have jacuzzi tubs ,a dry room located in motel.
There are rental homes available for nightly or by the week.
The Minesaft Pub is located 1 block from the motel and they love to cater to Sledders. It is the only reason the owners moved to this remote area.
The food is exceptional for a pub with daily dinner and lunch specials for food and Drinks.
Bralorne is a gold mining town that is slowly converting to recreational with a lot of whistler locals buying property as it comes available, the owners of the pub and motel are planning to build a large grocery /hardware store.
It is known in whistler as the best kept secret for backcountry riding/skiing and boarding.
there is also plans in for a small community ski hill with terrain that is similar to blackcomb/ whistler snowmobile access only.
For any other info call the Mineshaft pub at 250-238-0150

Accomadations in Goldbridge Bralorne

Anyone going to the Goldbridge Bralorne area might want to look at Morrow Chalets on Tyaughton Lake. They rent very nice log homes and love snowmobilers. Rod and Sue McNeal have been managing the places almost since they were built. I have been going there for about 18 years and almost don't go sledding unless going there. Rod and Sue know the area well and will help you in any way they can. Visit their website at morrowchalets.com.

Hey there:

A short note to have a look at my Website on Cabin rentals on the AB/BC Border.
You have direct access to the trail system from your Cabin to Areas like:
Fernie-- pipeline, Ranglers Cabin, Notch- I have Day passes for Fernie Area
Cobin -- This where I do 98% of my Riding. 15min ride from Cabins.
Atlas-- About 1/2hr ride. Go north side of #3hyw. Deadmans Pass to Atlas
Alexander B.C-- Great area and with GPS you could make your way to Elkford

We are located 10km west of Coleman Alberta, or 1/2hr from Fernie. When you ride out my back gate you are heading towards Fernie.

I have a small Bombi that I Groom my 10km of trail to the Falthead (CORBIN)
This is the main Trail that is access to all your Backcountry Riding.

I could go on and on, Just have a look!!!

Sundog B&B is Back!!!

Hey everyone the Sundog is getting back to its originality! I (JARETT) have taken over the Sundog this January and am going to put back the service and great breakfast's back in order.

We have 9 rooms and 19 bedrooms and all rooms except one have full bathrooms. All rooms have flatscreen telivision's and dvd players. The large common room has a 50 inch plasma with DVD and full Sattelite. We have two drying rooms with an evaporater for quicker drying. A large deck outside houses two hot tubs for relaxing your bones after a great day of sledding. There is lots of parking for your rigs right infront of the house.

Rates are based on double occupancy and are $60 per person. This will include hot breakfast served in the morning with all the fixings to get you fueled up to start your day. Also on your way out there is a snack bar and fresh made sandwich for you to take with you up on the hill so theres no need to go out hunting for food. Also when I am up there there will be dinner options available.

Hope everyone is having a great sledding season so far and hope to see alot of old friends and make some new ones along the way.
