Hey there:

A short note to have a look at my Website on Cabin rentals on the AB/BC Border.
You have direct access to the trail system from your Cabin to Areas like:
Fernie-- pipeline, Ranglers Cabin, Notch- I have Day passes for Fernie Area
Cobin -- This where I do 98% of my Riding. 15min ride from Cabins.
Atlas-- About 1/2hr ride. Go north side of #3hyw. Deadmans Pass to Atlas
Alexander B.C-- Great area and with GPS you could make your way to Elkford

We are located 10km west of Coleman Alberta, or 1/2hr from Fernie. When you ride out my back gate you are heading towards Fernie.

I have a small Bombi that I Groom my 10km of trail to the Falthead (CORBIN)
This is the main Trail that is access to all your Backcountry Riding.

I could go on and on, Just have a look!!!

Attention: all hotel, motel and lodges are you sledder friendly

The season is coming quickly now so if you could tell us where you are, what you have,eg.(hot tubs, drying rooms ,security and most importantly your sledder rates.)
A lot of us due to the terrible economic crisis are actually having to plan our trips this season so any info and a link to your web site if you have one would be appreciated and will make planning easier for us all.
Would also be nice to know if you are sledders as they know what we need to make our trips more enjoyable.I have been to a place that has Snowest mags in their rooms along with other Mags.
It would be nice to have take out or delivery menus in the rooms for after a hard day of riding where you just want to shower and eat with out going out.

Cheers,
Dave

Less than 40 days till Revy ride

If they are on this site wouldn't that make them sledder friendly already? LOL

Yes I would say so. You'll have to excuse me I think I may of had a brain phart. You get the drift though. I have to start making my plans now as I have come to the realization that I can only sled every weekend this season.

Cheers,
Dave

I get what you're saying but just because they're on here it could make them "sledder opportunists" not necessarily "sledder friendly". I know you meant that in a joking sort of way but it does bring up a good point. I won't mention the name, but there is a certain well known lodge in Revy that numerous Snowesters on here have posted comments about poor service, high prices and lousy food. I like this thread as it is good to know who has secured sled parking, in room cameras, discount rates for sledders, drying rooms, can I sled from the front door or do I have to trailer to the trail heads, etc. If you own a facility in a popular sledding area tell us about it. Saves me having to cruise various sites looking for answers. Or give me a reason to check out your web site. I'm planning at least 2 trips to Revy this season, maybe more. Tell us what you can do for us and why we should stay at your hotel/lodge/resort whatever.:beer;

NOPE! Sorry, just fully equiped Cabins out back. Turned the Lodge into our home, which is cool, but way to big, Cleaning is HUGE!!! We fixed the place up and built a new Cedar cabin out back and got rid of the dang!! singwide trailer that was here..

We are sledders, It's what brought us here. We purchased a small Bombi, and I do my best to keep the trail groomed to Corbin. No more food or booze, Except when I open the doors to a great group and watch video and pics on the big screen. good times!! haha

Hey Smokin, you sound like the veteran of these areas. I mean that in a nice way:beer; From your experience, or anyone else who may know, how has sledding around Owlshead been in mid December? I've heard it's a great all around area and how is Blue Lake?

Both are real nice places to ride.By mid Dec. there is usually lots of snow that is just starting to set up nicely.Check out the pictures in my albums of Queest. Those were taken mid Dec around the 18th I believe but varies year by year. There are a few on Snowest that are from the area that get out early like Night Ryder and Cobbycat that usually post conditions early season.
