more problems

took the 09 assault out for the first time with a bought used pciii dynotech 157 map. it worked good but through the day i was having starting issues and my dash lights quit working for a couple of minutes. there is still power to it but im thinking the pciii is junk. has anyone else experienced this or have a fix.

Are up on the voltage reg issues with dragons? Did you notice what your volts where showing on your instrument cluster?

started 2 pull every time before the pciii and i never seen the dash go blank before the pciii install. yes i am up on the vr issues but i think if it was broke i would have non stop issues not just starting and insterment cluster issues.

Had a similar problem on my D8 last year> Sled would not start. I unplugged the PCIII and sled started and ran fine. Re-installed the PCIII a few weeks later and sled started fine. I think it may have been moisture in one of the PCIII connectors. As Sledneck suggested, remove the PCIII and see how it runs. Good Luck.

P.S. I have the DTR 157 HP map and it runs good.

The earlier PC-3's had a "microswitch issue".

It has nothing to do with the map.

Had it happen to mine.

Call DYNOJET in Las Vegas, they'll send you a brand new one upon receipt of your old one.

It's a quick turn-a-round, you'll have it in a week.
