15 % better power to weight ratio says in the polaris video.
rush pro-r 800 and 600 weight 464 lbs....they says 38 lbs less...
so it weight 426 lbs

FOR the 800
150hp / 4.64 = 32.3276 hp/100 lbs +15% = 37.1767
150hp / 4.26 = 35.2112 hp/100 lbs

158.37hp / 4.26 = 37.1767

FOR the 600
125hp / 4.64 = 26.9397 hp/100 lbs +15% = 30.9806
125hp / 4.26 = 29.3427 hp/100 lbs

131.9773hp / 4.26 = 30.9806

So I dont know if they talk about the 600 or 800 ...
but sure we will have more power for 2015 :amen:

So the "real world" power of the 800 is now supposed to be where they said it was back in 2008 with the release of the 800 Dragon RMK?

The real world numbers on the 800 right now is more like 146 hp. So by following your calculations 150 hp more like what that engine will make at sea level in real world conditions.

It will no doubt be a noticeable performance increase, but at what cost? Will we be sacrificing reliability for that power? I am not willing to sacrifice that anymore, I want power but I also want to take the thing out and use it with out having to do an engine in it once a season.

My 2011 is working great now after dealing with some issues, but I am still concerned about the reliability of it. If the new one are more powerful and have the reliability I want then I may upgrade in the coming years to a 2015 if I can find a low miles unit.

2 525's bolted together for a 1050 similar to what Yamaha did a few years back with the phazer...just a little better

I can see that for the short track crowd but I think it's just to heavy for the pro. Pro is marketed as a light weight powder/ tree sled. I don't see a big market for a heavy 4 stroke turbo how many does ac sell of there 1100t? We will know in a week for sure fun to guess tho!

What I would like to see is a reliable engine to go with the best Chassis in the industry! My sled has been Great but 3 friends with 2014 800's have blown engines I get nerves about heavy boon docking were the sled would need to be Helicoptered out if it blows up! warranty fixes the engine not the
cost to retrieve the sled! Th eSuzuki engine would be nice now that Cat isn't using it any more!

Cat is still using the Suzuki 800, someone said cat signed another deal with Suzuki to have access to their motors or something along those lines.
