More ? on the Perks Spin Balance

I've had Perks balance clutches for me before and they were fine.

I use Brad Wurston at Power Addiction now though.

I told ALL you guys so !!!

anyway,,,lol

Last season we did some testing of clutch movement on the crank, EVEn just 1 engagment of the belt moves the clutch 12-15 degrees. NOW on most sleds it stopped there,, On those with counterweights it continues and does not stop..

WHY hasnt snowest stopped this snake oil ??

MONEY..

Gus Bohne

Bet the new investor is DAVE HALVERSON

I pull start my sled for the last 4 years and 2000 miles without one recoil issue...bolt on the perks balance kit and eat 2 recoils in less than 50 miles...rebalance the clutch and go back to stock...and have 200 miles now without recoil issue...and I gots a technique problem?

Are you ****ing kidding me? Even your half baked pipe dreaming no problem solving a$$ could figure that one out. It's not like you need an algorithm for this crap...sleds runs good...bolt your $hit on...now sled shakes and I holding 5ft of pull rope in my hand. Ray Charles could see the problem for $hit sake.

Boy I glad I don't have that $350 anymore

Spinning primary??? If the sob wasn't weighted lopsided to offset the other lopsided pos on the mag side it wouldn't be spinning.

60 mph then to reverse???
...hold on a sec, I have to take a hit off my oxygen tank...

How the hell is this happening in a sled? The engine dam near comes to a stop before going into reverse...and the belt is disengaged???

F@-k me, that theory makes your rope pull BS theory sound solid.

Elect. Tape...I think it we can all agree that the BRP engineering dept won't be mailing you a check anytime soon for that...somehow them stupid bastards at BRP gots the tapers all wrong on the crank and the clutch...just a tidbit of 411...this was not an issue until perks feat of engineering brought it to light...

...long story short perks appears to have fixed a problem they generated with some electrical tape...and helping me identify that I am a true dumba$$ and to stay seated when starting my sled. Hell $350 ain't nothin' ...where's the F;/kin tip jar?

Elect. Tape......where's the F;/kin tip jar?

The "TIP" to this thread is never trust anyone who puts electrical tape between two machined metal surfaces that are designed to seat to each other. If you are having issues with fit, a very fine lapping compound like they lap valve seats with, is the proper way to achieve a tighter fit, and even it needs to be used properly. Nothing belongs between the two surfaces, it is referred as a metal to metal fit for a reason. Even if this needless O2 consumer (Perks) did this sh-t for free! It will cost You too much!

Who has only had their clutch balanced from perks? I want to know to see if you have had any clutch spinning on the crank problems. If so is perk going to replace my $600 clutch?

I had just my clutch balanced and have had no issues what so ever....also have had the clutch off several times for tuning and again no issues with the clutch.

I hate to say it but he actually can spin balance the clutch. I've had clutches done with good luck. It's the two stroke engine's that he has no clue about! That and he lies like a sack is enough for me to never give that sap any more of my hard earded money.

I have a much better way to balance your motor. Go to your local heavy truck shop and buy a wheel balancing ring for the front axle, then duct tape it to your clutch. I mean if it can balance a big truck tire it can certainly balance a little sled motor. If the duct tape won't hold it on try your hot glue gun and cover with electrical tape. :bounce:

This maybe just a off the hip idea but if this was so good and worked so well for the engines, clutches, etc... why wouldn't any of the oems do it??? seems to me that if this balancing works so well they would be or looking into doing it on all their sleds

sounds alot like buy this from me and all your problems will be cured gain 20hp 20mph track speed and increase the flickablity buy 50% over a stock sled
