I can't imagine running over a deer with a snowmobile, intentionally.

And to make it close enough to a flock of ducks with a snowmobile to kill 50-60 of them? Come on.... sounds like some more stories being told or some parts being left out.

I think we need to all email that paper a few pictures of wildlife we encounter while sledding and some good family time being had. And then throw in some statistics of our own, how many people are killed in car wrecks, plane crashes, train wrecks, walking through harlem, etc...

The Wall Street Journal, give me a break, like they don't have enough to talk about!!!

last winter my buddy hit a deer with his snowmobile... luckily he was alright but **** happens... i don't think this stuff was intentional

Can't imagine anyone intentionally running over that many ducks. Too risky any way you look at it. I suspect it was difficult to see the ducks under the dark bridge and/or the speed that was required to get across the open water didn't allow enough time to avoid them.

No, I get fist hand info on how fast we are sinking. You know, future loss predictions, investment advice etc. At least I can start a fire with it to heat my house.

I guess I could email 'em and tell them my brother and I hauled hay bales up the 4100 on the S toutle for from mid Dec til first week in Jan. to feed the Elk. Bob Wilson another sledder, did the same on 2500. And another group fed the herd on the N toutle

You know they talk about this bridge that everyone skips under. If there are that many ducks under it. Close it off.

Second issue Alchohol: Have a crack down. Start testing people. They do it here in utah. I've had my sled searched on Monte Cristo. They had a check point. We got stopped and searched.

It's a no brainer. The problem is that it is bad news and it sells news papers, and gets ratings on TV.
