Hard to understand why they decided on that route, when there are so many route options and different riding areas so close.

Why not just drop from the top by the Hwy and stay on the right side in the trees? Seems that's the most "safe" area to ride in that bowl. I used to snowboard up there a lot back in the day. No reason to get into the main bowl on snow days like that.

When I drove over Loveland Pass on The Wednesday before this happened, You could see one foot fracture lines right off of the road. It was dangerous up there
