Looking to take my boy up to monte either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon. he only has a few more wks of kindergarten and getting out at noon so need to make them count Has anyone been up lately? Is the gate open and can I get a 22' enclosed turned around up there? Much asphalt showing after we have to unload? He is ok on his 300 but can't side hill if we had to.

I can't say most recently, but I was there last on Apr. 28. Gates were still closed. The snow on the road was still guardrail deep. I don't think they will be able to have the road cleared by memorial this year unless they invest some time and money.

There is plenty of snow to ride up there. Sometimes they will start to open one side of the gate and start pushing up the road.

I would say your best bet is if you have a 2 place trailer then load up and go for it. Even with the enclosed I think you'd be safe.

Gate is closed still with lots of bare road behind it. We went up the very first canyon behind the groomers shop and got muddy but came out by the very first short cut the one with the yellow gate...from there on up was tons of snow!! I doubt I would try it again after tomorrow. If they would just open the gate where the snow starts the is a perfect turn out to turn around at.

I found out that although corbins sled climbs ok going down is a different story. Going down the powerline short my heart skipped a few beats as he came down hauling ars sideways!!! Ended the day with him rolling his 300 over top of him!!

Oh and the sun came out from 2 till when we came out after 6
