Monotube upgrades?

Not enough funds for a whole new set of shocks. Should a revalve OR springs help the monotubes enough to make them worthwhile? Any other budget recommendations?

Depending on miles... Rebuild and some Raptor springs.

Big thing is to specify full-synth shock oil.... TRS on here turned me onto Amsoil shock therapy oil... top notch stuff...the Walker shock oil does not seem to be holding up.

For a fair price you can have the valving changed and pistons drilled to give much improved performance.... TRS set up specs for this on the ProRide Chassis...not sure if same is true for the AXYS-Mtn sleds.

Carls does a valving and piston change with Fox internals that essentially turns your shock into a Fox shock internally... a good upgrade and they say they have the Axys dialed in.

I have the carls revalve and it was night and day better, smooth on small stuff but takes the jumps way better. Would do it again and again. I had carls valve float evols on my pro and the revalved walkers are just as good

Completely agree! They have the re-valve thing dialed in spot on!
