Modding the Colorado section?

Ok, Ive read your posts both admin and users. Seems like the users think of the Colorado section as the local pub down the street. Where the locals hang out talk about sleds and other things. I would have to agree since I live here I look here. My friends hang out here (in this forum) and I'm interested in what is going on here in Colorado. Some of it's serious and some not so much. I enjoy both just the same and see no harm keeping them. For sale posts however need to be moved.

I'm asking if we can keep our local pub going without moving, deleting, locking threads unless it's an attack against someone?

The unicorn thread was posted by a Colorado friend and replied to just the same. I would not have enjoyed it if it were outside the Colorado section because I would not have seen it.

I agree, regardless of the topics, they are all from guys that live here, and a bunch of us all know each other and ride together. I know that I've ridden with 2/3's of the active Colorado section users. I may not remember them all though.

What Hammertime said is all we're asking. I started the other thread without the intent of it getting personal, sorry that it turned.

What we want isn't that much to ask for, we just want to be left alone unless things get out of hand & nasty.

When things get nasty, yeah, that's when a mod really should step in, but otherwise I really feel like it's just an invasion.

Things posted in the "colorado" forum really ought to have something to do with Colorado (even if it's only tangental). When it really goes off-topic, then its going to get pulled and dumped down in Fouled Plug or Trash-Bin where all the serious off-topic stuff ends up.

PJ is new to this Mod Job, he is going to make a few mistakes along the way as he learns the ropes of what works and what doesn't. Be nice to him, and I have no doubt at all that this little section of SnoWest will thrive!

Moving on.............I've never seen so many threads about "modding" and not one had to do with a sled!!

Everyone go to your garage or trailer........start your sled and smell some fumes..........and come back with a little more love in your "throttle bodies or carb if you ride Doo."

It's almost winter ladies and gentleman and the snow show is around the corner. Shape up, pretty soon we will have to look each other in the eyes.......no more keyboards.
