MMMMKAAAY... Shoes, or no shoes in the house?

Off, always. I would never think of wearing them in someone's house either.

EXACTLY. Must be a Canadian thing, or, even a northern vs. south thing. What Mike said may be true as well. I live in the sticks, so, my boots are ALWAYS either muddy, wet, oily, or have some form of shat on them, so i'd never think of wearing them in someone's house....

I don't think I've ever worn shoes in my house....even if the phone rings and I'm outside I take em off while I'm running in LOL

Doesn't make any sense to me to keep em on, but I guess I enjoy clean floors and carpet.

BWAHAHA! Sorry I missed this boys! So, do you americans take your shoes off in a place like that, too? I sure would... Heck, i've taken my shoes off in some shops before....:Q

thanks snow! that's been my game plan in life, find the big guys and get them to like ya, then you never have to worry.

Roc, to answer your question, unless your waking up to stoke the fire that is a shoes on cabin. Those screens don't exactly keep dirt out, plus you never no what a critter left behind.

The craftsmanship in that cabin is just unreal. In fact we have a cabin that was built 2 years before that one as a temporary shelter while the main was being built. Still has bark on the aspen logs and witht he exception of a leaning chimney it's going strong.

I was being a wee bit sarcastic... That's insane the quality of that place.

I have a log house that was built 25 years ago, and it's a hobbling pile compared to the way that has stood the test of time... Beautiful place.
