MM tunnel stiffeners

Does anyone know where I guy can get some tunnel siffeners for a 2001 MM 700? I hit a rock the other day and wrinkled the tunnel just under the front mounting bolt. Also cracked the tunnel just a little. I could have swore I've seen them before on other MM's. May have to also replace the rail. It took a pretty hard hit! I have a 151 track to replace the stock track currently on it so this might be a good time. Any suggestions on the best fix?

i don't think anyone makes any for the MM, because the coolers run under the running boards so you wouldn't be able to mount them to the running board..

allthough, if you were set on getting some i'm sure you could get some cut out and bent up...wouldn't be too much work.

it would be a lot of work taking off and re-installing the coolers though, i just did it to rivet some rox sled treads..and i wouldn't do it again, way too many rivets for a hand pump rivet gun haha.

but if you do that..make sure you rivet from under the running boards so the head is on the bottom where the cooler goes, otherwise there won't be enough clearence to mount the running boards back up. and use multi grip rivets to re-install.

hope this helped!

The ones I was thinking of just riveted to the side of the tunnel to reinforce the area where the front bolt holding the slide is located. I don't know that I need the kind that rivets to the running board. I found a picture of one that appears to be made by MPI. I need to call them and find out if they are still made.
