I am working on a 97 mm700 .The belt squeels after it warms up and the sled creeps. Can someone explain how to check clutch alingment on this sled. How much play should there be in driven clutch bushing.I went to the dealer but he wasn,t able to find it in the manual.

Pretty simple fix. There are 3 8MM bolts & washers on the backside of the secondary clutch. they are an intentional "wear" part.
Pull the secondary, the bolts are close to the shaft hole. Remove the bolts, if there is a washer remove it then put the bolt back in. If the washer is gone you will need to replace the bolt & washer, about $6 from the dealer.
I think the bolts are to keep the secondary from slapping but as they wear additional tesion is put onto the belt causing squeek & creep.
Common Yami issue.

I saw the three bolts and was wondering if they held the sheeves apart. How about the play in the driven seem a little sloppy to me. thanks

I use clutch alignment tools for easy setup. I have about 1/8in sitting up out of the secondary clutch. I also run the dayco ultramax with is slightly longer than the stock belt.

Where do you live? I live in the Boise area....
